We own and operate two hotels: the InterContinental Yokohama Grand, opened in August 1991, and InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8, opened in October 2019. Located within PACIFICO Yokohama, the InterContinental Yokohama Grand features 594 guest rooms, making it an ideal accommodation option for attendees of large-scale exhibitions and conferences. The hotel also offers 18 banquet halls of various sizes and eight restaurants, providing versatile venues for meetings, parties, and other events. InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8 is a stay-oriented resort hotel equipped with banquet rooms suitable for off-site meetings that include overnight stays.

Sustainability Initiatives

As part of our efforts to protect the global environment, we provide an option for guests staying multiple nights to forgo the replacement of bed linens by using a designated notification card. Room cleaning, including bed-making, as well as towel replacement and amenity restocking, are also minimized upon guest request. These initiatives help reduce wastewater and CO2 emissions generated during laundering.

To further minimize waste, we have switched from individually packaged amenities to pump-style bottles, and for items that must remain individually packaged, we are gradually transitioning to eco-friendly materials. We are committed to reducing food waste and general waste, with used cooking oil and paper waste being recycled through external partners. Additionally, we display data on the hotel’s monthly energy consumption—including electricity, water, and gas—to raise awareness among employees and promote energy conservation.
