Legacy Programs
Yokohama’s Next-Generation Project
In conjunction with international conferences and exhibitions, Yokohama is implementing various projects to enlighten the next generation and prepare them to take the lead on the issues that define our times. Yokohama welcomes researchers who are active in Japan and abroad to lead lectures, workshops, and other courses for young students in the city.
Through exchanges with internationally active researchers and hands-on training that is not available in schools, this project provides opportunities for the students who will become society’s future leaders to think about their career trajectory by exposing them to cutting-edge technology and new ways of thinking. These programs can be easily incorporated into any conference or convention, creating a tangible legacy for your event.
Terms & Conditions
This program is applicable to events arranged for young students in Yokohama, held in conjunction with a conference/exhibition in Yokohama (e.g., special lectures, hands-on classes, or experimental workshops).
