2026 Yokohama MICE SHOWCASE

The Yokohama MICE SHOWCASE is an annual event sponsored by Yokohama City Visitors Bureau—designed to keep local businesses informed about Yokohama’s event industry and the diverse experiences the city offers for conferences.
The all-day program features monitor tours, presentations, workshops, business meetings, presentations and a reception.
The main event was held at PACIFICO Yokohama North and the reception was held at Shisedo Beauty Park.
Monitor Tours Showcase Yokohama's Unique Attractions and Sustainable Initiatives
The 2026 MICE SHOWCASE featured a choice of three early morning courses:
Yokohama Chinatown Tour
Participants got in touch with the deep history of Yokohama Chinatown and learned about sustainable practices being implemented in the area, including measures to reduce food loss. The group finished off with a course meal at a Ichiraku, a restaurant with over 100 years of history.

Sustainability Tour
This tour highlighted sustainable innovation in Yokohama, featuring a visit to Agri-Oh, an LED vegetable garden near Shin-Yokohama Station. Participants learned about aquaponics, a recycling-based agriculture program, and engaged in group work to share ideas about how to implement aquaponics. The tour finished with a meal at at a neighboring restaurant with food made from aquaponics.

The group started off at the exciting multi-purpose Asobuild building. Japanese izakaya pubs line the first floor, mimicking the “yokocho” alleyways lined with pubs common in Japanese cities. They then toured Coast GARAGE+, a sleek industrial club space located on the basement floor.

The tour ended with with a lunch and dance show performance at Marin Rocket. Marin Rocket puts on energetic shows of all varieties-from cabaret style to Japanense inspired dance numbers.

Reception Party
The day ended with a reception at Shiseido Beauty Park, a showroom of the renowned Japanese cosmetics company. Participants had the opportunity to network and enjoy traditional Japanese performances of koto and ikebana with a contemporary twist.
