By participating in traditional activities like martial arts and calligraphy, you can get in touch with the Japanese spirit and gain a deeper understanding of the culture. Learning the basic moves, etiquette, and history of calligraphy and martial arts allows us to preserve and carry on this cultural heritage.

The concept of “dō,” meaning “the way,” as seen in the names of arts like shodo (calligraphy), kendo, or judo, represents a mindset at the core of traditional Japanese culture.
