CITY ACCESS GROUP
- Company/Organization Overview
Founded in 1923, City Access, a group company of Fujiki Kigyo Co., Ltd., was established as an independent subsidiary in 1997 to serve as a means of transportation for employees working in the port area. Today, it has grown to become one of the top companies in Yokohama for charter bus services, both in terms of fleet size and operating rate. The company primarily operates charter buses for corporate transportation, as well as for weddings, funerals, local businesses, accommodations, and educational institutions. In addition, it provides shuttle bus services during events, transportation tools for after-convention movements, and transportation options from airports and terminal stations.
- Sustainability Initiatives
City Access recognizes the importance of addressing environmental issues in continuing its business activities. As terms like SDGs, renewable energy, and circular society become more common worldwide, the need for environmentally conscious corporate actions, such as reducing carbon dioxide emissions, is being strongly emphasized. While it is difficult to achieve zero carbon dioxide emissions in transportation vehicles like buses with current technology, it is possible to reduce emissions through corporate efforts, and it is a responsibility the company bears. In pursuit of a sustainable society, City Access will contribute to addressing environmental, economic, and social challenges with the philosophy of “not one person’s hundred steps, but a hundred people’s one step.”
